Getting Started:
Once you've logged in, go to the "campaigns" tab in the left-hand menu of your Google Ads account. Now select "new campaign" from the menu after clicking the "plus" button.
You can build discovery advertisements without choosing a specific campaign goal by simply choosing the option to "make a campaign without a goal's guidance" on the campaign goal selection screen.
Choose "custom video campaign" as your campaign subtype after choosing "video" as your campaign type. To go to the following stage, click "continue."
Creating The Campaign:
It's time to start the video advertising campaign now. Begin by giving your new campaign a name in the "campaign name" section.
Choose "daily" as your budget type under "budget" and input your daily spending in the form below. Select "start and finish dates" at this point choose "highest cost-per-view" under "strategy". By choosing this bidding technique, you will only be charged when someone watches your video advertisement.
Deselect "video partners on the display network" by clicking the "networks" menu now. This will enable you to spend all of your advertising budget on YouTube. Choose your target "languages" and "locations" now.

Now click on the “topics” menu and select the type of content that you want to show your ads on. Videos that cover the topics that you select in this section will trigger your ads in the recommended videos feed. Now click on the “placements” menu. Here you can select specific placements where to show your videos. For example, if you want your video ads to appear on a specific YouTube video, you have to type the name or URL of the video in the search address, and then to select it from the results.
Enter your highest cost-per-view bid in the "maximum CPV" area after moving to the "bidding" section. This is the most you're ready to pay for every time someone views your video.
Creating The Ad:
Your video advertisement can now be made. Put the URL of the video you wish to advertise in the "search for a video" area to get started. Pick "video discovery ad" as your ad format right now.
